Right in the heart of the Bourgueil vineyards, our guest house is ideally located on the borders of Touraine and Anjou, a land of natural and historical riches.

Made of old tufa stone houses, the property offers 5 rooms with a warm, intimate atmosphere, a real invitation to relax after discovering the charm of the Loire Valley and its châteaux.

The recent renovation of these accommodations, as well as the entire house, gives our guests a space of over 700 m² combining vintage elegance with contemporary refinement and comfort.

The strategic position of the Cave Auger, on the borders of Indre et Loire and Maine et Loire, opens up a wide range of activities.

– History and tourism: the Valley of the Kings of France (and a little of England…) offers many opportunities for visits in the vicinity, all Royal with a capital R.
– Whether you’re looking for sport or relaxation, the proximity of the Loire river means you can stroll along the water’s edge, on foot, by boat, or by bicycle on the renowned “Loire à Vélo” cycle routes.

“Al bij aankomst zie je dat er bij dit verblijf overal aan is gedacht. De tuin is mooi bijgehouden, alles staat er super strak bij en oogt echt prachtig. Alsof je in een film bent! De kamers zelf hebben wij niet gezien omdat we met een camper op pad waren, wel zagen het zwembad en de jacuzzi er super mooi uit.
De camperplaats is super, er is veel ruimte (ik denk dat er wel 10 campers passen, maar wij waren alleen!), er is voor een klein bedrag per nacht een schoon en goed onderhouden sanitair aanwezig (toilet, fijne douche, plek voor de afwas en zelfs glazen welke je mag lenen). Als je dit niet nodig hebt, is de overnachting op de camper plaats gratis. De camperplaats grenst aan de wijngaarden en heeft daardoor prachtig uitzicht.
De eigenaar ontvangt je met een glimlach, spreekt super goed Engels en nodigt je direct uit voor een wijnproeverij. De rosé, witte en rode wijn is heerlijk. Wij komen zeker terug!“

There’s not a false note at La Cave Auger: The place is incredible, ideally located for all your visits, the decoration of the rooms and exteriors is just magnificent, the homemade breakfast is exquisite.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are heated to perfection – it’s rare to find a place so full of softness!
As for the welcome, the thoughtfulness of our hosts towards adults and children is extremely appreciable, and what a pleasure it is to be able to meet and chat with such friendly people!

The welcome is perfect, the hosts are kind, very smiling and available. The service is perfect (aperitif in the pool 👌).
Family of 3 with a 6 month old baby we were not short of space. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. The glass roof between the bedroom and the bathroom won us over. The area is very quiet and safe for children, and we slept very, very well.
The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, and the heated pool and jacuzzi are very pleasant.
Finally, we had a delicious lunch of home-made and local produce.

“A superb restoration of the buildings over the last two years has resulted in magnificent guest rooms. Swimming pool heated to 30 degrees, jacuzzi available and even a private jacuzzi for the bedroom with terrace. Large garage for cars or motorbikes.
